Any magic square can be made into a magic multiplier square (where the product of the entries of any row, column, or diagonal multiplies to the same constant) by using any non-zero number as the base (here we used 2) and use as exponents the numbers in a magic square. This works because a raised to the b+c power equals a raised to the b power times a raised to the c power.

Some latin squares and graeco-latin squares can be made into a magic multiplier square by using two or more relatively prime positive integers (here 6 and 5) and coding the latin or graeco-latin square letters and numbers as we have done here with A replaced by 6 to the 1st power, etc.
